Energy Efficient Transformer Rebates

Purpose

To provide rebates for the replacement of a qualified energy inefficient transformer with a qualified energy efficient transformer.

Applicant and/or Project Eligibility Requirements

Eligible entities include industrial or manufacturing facility owners, commercial building owners, multifamily building owners, utilities, or energy service companies.

Decarbonization Considerations

Rebates are available for the replacement of a qualified energy inefficient transformer with a qualified energy efficient transformer to enhance the efficiency and efficacy of the energy system.

Helpful Tips

Rebate payments will be calculated as follows: $2 per Watt multiplied by the difference between the core loss of the qualified energy inefficient transformer and the core loss of the qualified energy efficient transformer.

Note applications must be received by December 8, 2023, though rebates are available until December 13, 2023.
