To provide direct loans to re-equip, expand, or establish US facilities engaged in the production and/or engineering integration of low- or zero-emission vehicles.

Applicant and/or Project Eligibility Requirements

Eligible recipients include US automobile manufacturers and component suppliers with projects that are financially viable without federal funds.

Decarbonization Considerations

Working with automobile manufacturers, local governments can help create clean energy economies based on advanced vehicle manufacturing. These advanced vehicles can be low- or zero- emissions vehicles.

Equity Considerations

Consider using this loans to rejuvenate hard-hit, post-industrial areas.
